Anthony has been in the Finance Industry since 1994 when he started his career with Tokai Bank. Anthony’s career progressed as he worked with several well-known small ticket finance companies leading up to his first Middle Market sales job in 2002. Anthony had an exceptional first year in middle market funding close to $50 Million Dollars in lease/loan transactions with some very notable clients to include CONSOL Energy and Cliffs Natural Resources. Since 2002, he has been involved with several mid ticket financing firms in senior positions. Anthony has funded over his tenure close to $750Million in equipment ranging from Mining to Aviation. Anthony has a true understanding of both US and International Financial Structures and Reporting. He has a long list of clients that are both leaders in their industries but well recognized in today’s markets. Anthony has an undergraduate degree in business, attended Ashington University’s Executive MBA program and recently completed his Financial Management Certificate at Cornell University. Hank Lee has been in the equipment finance industry for over 30 years with the last 15 years focusing on financing energy efficiency and distributed generation assets, specifically HVAC, lighting and central plant retrofits, co-generation and renewable energy projects for public schools, colleges, cities, state and the federal government as well as commercial property owners.
Hank is the Chief Operating Officer and Syndicator for Patriot Equipment Finance, LLC (PEF). He is responsible for the structuring, pricing, credit, documentation and syndication of PEF originated equipment lease transactions. Prior to co-founding PEF, Hank was Senior Vice President for Green Campus Partners and was responsible for business development in the western United States. Hank provided municipal tax-exempt financing for energy service companies’ municipal customers. Prior to GCP, Hank was First Vice President at East West Bank and started the renewable energy lending group which provided construction and long term financing to solar developers for solar PPA projects. He had financed over $100 million of solar projects at the Port of West Sacramento, City of Brea, San Diego Community College District, San Diego County Water Districts, Edwards Air Force Base, Santa Clara County, various CA school districts and solar projects to cities and churches on the east coast in New Jersey and Massachusetts. Prior to East West Bank, Hank co-founded National City Energy Capital (now PNC Energy Capital) providing financing for utility and non-utility ESCO projects throughout the U.S. Hank closed over $130 million worth of energy efficiency and distributed generation projects during his time with this group. Prior to National City Energy Capital, Hank developed general equipment leasing at Nations Bank, Sanwa Bank, Tokai Bank and First Fidelity Bank. Hank is a graduate of Duke University with a degree in Economics and resides in Altadena, CA.
Claudio spent most of his career in mining holding various senior finance positions at Agnico-Eagle Mines Limited and holding the CFO, and eventually CEO, positions at Colossus Minerals Inc. Throughout his career, Claudio has raised over $4 billion through debt issuances in the private and public debt markets in both Canada and the US. Claudio has also raised debt through credit facilities, bonding facilities, lease facilities, and innovative structures such as commodity linked notes and streaming agreements. Claudio has extensive international financing experience as well as debt structuring experience. Claudio obtained an Honors Chartered Accountancy degree from the University of Waterloo and honed his finance skills at the Ontario Securities Commission prior to moving to the mining industry in 2002. Claudio resides in Toronto, Ontario and will be servicing PEF’s Canadian clients from our new Canadian office.
Ian Joyce has spent the last 4 years enjoying a career in mid-to-large ticket equipment finance. Currently focused on primarily working on building a larger book of business in the Midwest, he also provides analytical output for Patriot as well as investor blogs and newsletters. He was an Account Manager/Senior Analyst for three years at CGCF Finance before joining Patriot. After being promoted from a Business Development Analyst, Ian was directly involved in over $25MM lease/loan originations. A graduate of the John Cook School of Business at Saint Louis University, he dual majored with bachelor's degrees in Finance and Accounting. Ian graduated cum laude and is currently a CFA I Candidate. He is an avid personal investor, researcher of market trends and forecasting. While attending Saint Louis, Ian played on the SLU Rugby Team and remains a member of the Alpha Kappa Psi business fraternity.

Scott W. Jones is a Regional Vice President with Patriot Equipment Finance and works out of the Cleveland Ohio office. He attended Taylor University where he played on the Trojans football team. He finished his schooling in South Florida where he received a BA in Business Administration through the University of Phoenix. Scott started his career in the South Florida real estate industry where he completed his real estate schooling and was a licensed realtor in the state of Florida selling high end beach front properties. When the market slowed in 2008 he moved in the maritime industry and moved his way up to become a Vice President of a very prominent brokerage firm selling over $25mm in luxury vessels in 1 year which earned him broker of the year for the firm in 2011. After almost 6 years in the maritime industry he decided to take his qualifications and experience into the equipment finance industry and for the past 2 ½ years has succeeded regular to earn his current position. Scott has a wealth of knowledge in various industries such as mining, aviation, maritime, crane and the manufacturing industries.
